Description

Per [1510], we need to ensure that the logrotate script doesn't do something that stops logging to these files as it is where thread dumps go to. re #228.

Hopefully this can be done post launch as [1510] ought to mean the amount of data going into /var/log/tomcat should be very minimal now.

We're using the DailyRollingFileAppender now. There is no need for an external program to roll log files.
