what images are created on ingest

howdy!

how do we decide which versions (S, M, L, etc.) of an image to create on ingest?

is there always (S, M, L) PNG files plus and original TIFF? or does it depend on file size? what can i count on being there?

i'm thinking about how to rewrite AP style clinicaltrials URLs to topaz URLs...

For all figures and tables, the three sizes are created and stored in addition to the original TIFF. It does not depend on file size. For inline-formula, disp-formula, and chem-struct-wrappers one PNG representation is created that has the same dimensions as the original image. Both the original and TIFF are stored.

Also please track #549 as the solution there could change the URLs.
