Forgot to bring this up with Rich today. I have sent him an email asking him if he has defined procedures he would like us to follow or is this something that will need to be created anew.

Rich's response:

I don't have any set procedure - usually use the backup solution that I inherit from a new environment. We'll have to migrate to some form of external backup in the future, but for now, feel free to setup whatever you're most comfortable with.
