admin application behavior on virtual journals

howdy!

on clinical-trials dev, in the publishable articles list, there are 3 columns:

  • publish
  • clinical trials
  • delete

these are the same 3 cols i have on plosone-dev. shouldn't i have an option for plosone instead of clinical trials? ie, shouldn't i have an option for all journals EXCEPT the one i'm publishing into?

not an issue at all for 0.8/clinical trials hubs launch, but should probably be fixed for ntds launch...

Yes. That is becase we are not spending time on the Admin application user interface. I have discussed this with Rich quite a few times and based on priorities any work on admin app. keeps getting punted. I doubt this will be fixed for NTD launch either.

so, what's the functionality as it stands? will we see a column for each virtual journal but not the primary journal?

or is it hard coded to clinical trials?

i suppose it's no big deal to add articles manually to the primary journal if and when necessary (ie, never for plosone :)
