Description

This might not be a problem at all, but just in case folks start to misuse the system to add spam, we want to ensure that some sort of manual intervention is needed to complete the user registration process.

Sounds like a requirement for captcha's. A quick google shows:

The Wikipedia article has some info on what constitutes a good captcha (i.e. what is hard for automated systems to break).
